What we want for every member of this church:
We hope, expect and pray that…
- each person will experience the love of God through Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior.
- each person will move into a deeper experience of life with Jesus, as His follower.
- each person will experience the filling of the Holy Spirit along with the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
- each person will experience the full love of God in his or her life through healing and restoration.
- each person will be involved in genuine worship of God, obedience to the Word of God, and listening in prayer to the heart of God.
- each person will find a place of belonging as an important part of the body of Christ.
- each person will use his or her spiritual gifts to serve the Lord and grow His Kingdom.
How we want to minister together:
We want to minister with…
- Compassion: God's love for us; our love for God; our love for one another.
- Character: God's holiness and righteousness is the goal for our lives. Jesus is the example for us. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live it out.
- Community: Relationships with one another where we can have good friends who will care about us, love us, challenge us and encourage us.
- Change: God never leaves us in the same place, but is always calling us to grow in His plans for our lives. We don't want to be stuck in the same place, but to always be moving up and into greater things for the Lord.
- Creativity: God expresses Himself through us in many ways. We use the spiritual gifts and interests the Lord gives to us to proclaim His glory.
- Covenant: The promise God makes to us to never let us go. The promise we make to each other to stick together through the struggles and joys of growing and serving together.
