Steps to Get More Involved

Each person seems to find their way into more life at FBC in a different way, through different relationships or ministries, and in different timing.  However, here are some basic steps you can take that will take you from a casual visitor to someone actively involved in the life of the church.

  • Worship with us.  The most important time of our life together is worship on Sunday mornings.  In worship we are connecting with God and with each other in the body.
  • Join a small group.  Small groups provide time to get to know the Lord and other people better.  The opportunities for small groups are on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.
  • Take the BUILD Classes.  Each one is designed to help you with an important part of your relationship with Jesus and the church:
  1. Alpha will help you establish a relationship with Jesus Christ.
  2. Disciple will help you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
  3. New Community: Membership will help you grow in your relationship with this church and help you join the membership of the church.
  4. Network will help you understand your unique make-up and how you can serve Jesus Christ in this church.
  • Get baptized, if you have not already done so in another Christian church as an adult believer.
  • Start serving in our various ministry teams.
  • Keep loving, growing, and serving.
