Can you believe the results of March Madness this year?  Only one #1 ranked team made it to the Final Four of this yearly collegiate level basketball tournament.  And, there are two #5 ranked teams joining them.  During this three week basketball extravaganza, you hear the phrase "a game changer" over and over again.  It might be a blocked shot, a stolen ball, a three pointer, a foul, an injury, or some missed opportunity,  but it always means that it impacted the outcome of the game for the good, or for the  bad, depending on which team you are rooting for.  When Jesus rose from the dead it was the ultimate game changer.  Three days earlier it looked like it was all over: he was dead and buried in a tomb, there to be sealed forever.  But, when he rose from the dead he defeated death.  His promise to you is that, through faith in Him, you too can join Him in defeating death and live forever with Him.  As great as that is, His resurrection is a game changer, not just for defeating death, because it also means that every other promise He made is also true and He has the ability to fulfill it.  The things He spoke as true…are true; the miracles He said we could do in His name…we can do; the peace and rest He promised…they are yours for real; the deep joy in this life…it's for you now, and on and on and on.  Jesus' resurrection is a game changer that promises a better life now and a perfect life in eternity.
